In the past simple solutions and actions were developed to begin to address the problem of poverty. Thus most people still believe that social welfare is solely helping those in need. However, social welfare in the twenty-first century has expanded to encompass shared human survival, independence and coexistence, which allow all members of society to lead their lives happily. We truly believe that realizing these three goals will make the world a happier place to live.
To achieve shared human survival, independence and coexistence, the Department of Social Welfare at Global Cyber University seeks to develop skilled social workers capable of providing professional social services. To this end, we provide character education, teach various social welfare theories and provide practical skills training.
